The first new Ronart since the W152 was launched in a blaze of publicity at the 1999 London Motor Show. Arthur Wolstenholme was "assisted" by the TV's powerful Gladiator, Lightning, presumably only in fending off the eager Press.

The Ronart Lightning is pitched against the new Jensen V8, the TVR Tuscan, and the Lotus M250 V6 concept car.

Arthur seems very encouraged by the large number of deposits taken at or around the Show. Let's hope they are true enthusiasts and that the Club will gain lots of new members.
